Which devices does Fabra support?

Supported devices and browsers for the Fabra 3D editor.

The Fabra 3D editor is built on WebGPU and optimized for modern desktop devices with hardware acceleration. For best performance, we recommend using a high-performance laptop or desktop with a modern GPU.

Mac - recommended

Apple Silicon Macs offer the best and most stable experience with the Fabra 3D editor. The following devices are fully supported:

  • MacBook Air (M2, M3, M4)

  • MacBook Pro (M2, M3, M4 - including Pro/Max chips)

  • iMac (Apple Silicon)

  • Mac Studio / Mac Mini (Apple Silicon)

The primary supported browser on Mac is Google Chrome (v121 or later). We recommend using Chrome on an Apple Silicon Mac for the most reliable 3D editing experience.

Windows - supported

Fabra can run on Windows devices, though we don't yet have the capacity to fully optimize performance across the wide range of Windows hardware configurations. For the best experience on Windows, we recommend:

  • Windows 10 or 11 (latest version)

  • A modern GPU (typically 2022 or newer)

  • Google Chrome (latest version)

Performance may vary depending on your device's GPU and drivers. For the most reliable 3D editing experience, a supported Mac device is recommended where possible.

Mobile & tablet

3D editing is not currently supported on mobile devices or iPads. These devices may still be used for viewing and light interaction, but full editing capability requires a desktop device.

As an early-stage team, we're focused on delivering the best possible experience for the devices and environments listed above. We're committed to expanding Fabra's compatibility across more devices over time - thank you for bearing with us as we grow.
