Can I Upload My Own Designs Into Fabra? (2D or 3D Uploads Explained)

Fabra currently supports uploading 2D artwork, but it does not yet support uploading full 3D garment models or converting 2D sketches into 3D garments. Here’s how everything works depending on what you’re trying to upload.

🧵 Uploading Your Own 3D Garments

At the moment, Fabra does not allow you to upload your own 3D product models.
All 3D design on Fabra must start from our existing base products or templates.

Coming soon:
We’re actively working on enabling users to upload their own 3D products in the future. This feature is planned for an upcoming release, but is not available right now.

🎨 Uploading Your Own 2D Designs (Flats, Sketches, Renderings)

If you have your own 2D garment designs (e.g. technical flats, sketches, or illustrations), you can use them on Fabra - just not as 3D models.

Here’s how:

Use the Canvas Product

You can select the Canvas from the Products page.
This gives you a flat surface where you can:

  • upload your 2D front and back flats

  • position them on the canvas

  • build your tech pack measurements around your own design

⚠️ Note:
The Canvas product does not offer 3D design features or 3D previews.
It’s a workaround for users who want to use Fabra’s tech pack builder with their own 2D designs.
